# General Settings
PlantProjectSetup is now accessible from all PlantTools. Even the desktop apps PlantCenter, PlantDataManager and PlantReporter.
The goal is, to have all settings of all PlantTools in this one user interface. As a step in this direction, we move the common settings to PlantProjectSetup.
Changing the common settings through one PlantTools, will of courses effect all PlantTools.
The nodes visible in the tree on PlantProjectSetup are limited to those that can be accessed from the PlantTool that was used to initiate the PlantProjectSetup. Since the common settings were moved to PlantProjectSetup, these common settings were removed from the settings dialogs of the individual PlantTools.
PlantProjectSetup in PlantCenter, PlantDataManager, PlantReporter
This is how to open PlantProjectSetup from within PlantCenter, PlantDataManager, and PlantReporter.
The **General Settings** node is the only one available right now.

The **General Settings** node is the only one available right now. The difference to the desktop apps described above is the option to use the AutoCAD language. Also, since the PlantDataManager Plugin is not using a license of PlantDataManager, there are no proxy settings either.
PlantProjectSetup in PlantExpressTools
This is how to open PlantProjectSetup from within PlantExpressTools. It is at the first position of the PlantExpressTools ribbon.
Or as always through PlantProjectManager.
Here you have all the nodes available right now., because PlantProjectSetup is hosting only some of the PlantExpressTools settings right now. The difference to the desktop apps described above is the option to use the AutoCAD language.
