# Silent Installation

If you want to install any PlantTools either as a full install or an update install, you simply add the following two command line arguments to the file.

**/VERYSILENT /SUPPRESSMSGBOXES**

For example:

*PlantExpressTools\_Setup.exe /VERYSILENT /SUPPRESSMSGBOXES*

*PlantExpressTools\_Update.exe /VERYSILENT /SUPPRESSMSGBOXES*

In cases where you received exe files with a version number in the file name, it works the same way.

For example:

*PlantExpressTools\_Setup\_3.0.0.0.exe /VERYSILENT /SUPPRESSMSGBOXES*

*PlantExpressTools\_Update\_3.0.0.0.exe /VERYSILENT /SUPPRESSMSGBOXES*
