# Refresh Tree (P\&ID)

This chapter describes how and why you want to refresh the Structure Tree.

Although the Structure Tree is typically up-to-date, it is sometimes necessary to update the tree. This can happen, if something changes in 3D to an object which is linked to its P\&ID counterpart. For example when changing the Tag in 3D of a valve.

In such cases you just click on the **Refresh** button to refresh your tree.
