# Hide/Show Line Segment Nodes (P\&ID)

This chapter describes how you can hide and show the line segment nodes in the Structure Tree.

When you work with the Structure Tree you typically want to see the Pipe Line Segments too, but sometimes it may be useful to see the Inline Assets and Inline Instrument right under the Pipe Line Groups. For example, if you later are in 3D and you want to insert the Inline Assets and Inline Instruments and you don't care about the Pipe Line Segments.

In such a case you click on the **Hide PipeLineSegments in tree** toggle button.

Now the Pipe Line Segments level is gone.

If you click on the toggle button again...

...you will see the Pipe Line Segments again.
