# Unlinking Equipment and Nozzles (3D)

This chapter describes how you unlink linked Equipment and Nozzles.

This chapter is also more or less the same as [Unlinking P\&ID Inline Assets / Inline Instruments / Fasteners (3D)](/plant-tools/plantspecdriven/how-to-use/use-cases/linking-pid-symbols-3d-object-pid3d/unlinking-pid-inline-assets-inline-instruments-fasteners-3d.md).

We use for example the linked nozzle of the pump and select **Unlink from 3D Object**.

Now the nozzle is not linked anymore.

Next we unlink the pump itself.
