# Linking Equipment and Nozzles (3D)

This chapter describes how you link Equipment and Nozzles between P\&ID and 3D. This works only if you configured PlantSpecDriven for Equipment and Nozzles (see [Non-Spec Driven - Equipment](/plant-tools/plantspecdriven/how-to-use/configuration/the-wizard/non-spec-driven-equipment.md), [Non-Spec Driven - Nozzle](/plant-tools/plantspecdriven/how-to-use/configuration/the-wizard/non-spec-driven-nozzle.md)).

Essentially the linking of Equipment and Nozzles is the same as with manually linking other parts as described under [Linking P\&ID Symbols and 3D Object (P\&ID/3D)](/plant-tools/plantspecdriven/how-to-use/use-cases/linking-pid-symbols-3d-object-pid3d.md).
