# P\&ID Line Segment classes

This chapter describes the functions when using the context menu from a Pipe Line Segment node in a P\&ID drawing.

**Route** allows you to route this P\&ID Pipe Line Segment in 3D. The node will stay enabled even if you already routed this P\&ID Pipe Line Segment in case you need to redesign the routing. **Link with 3D Object** allows you to link the P\&ID Pipe Line Segment to 3D pipes and elbows. See [Linking P\&ID Line Segment (3D)](/plant-tools/plantspecdriven/how-to-use/use-cases/linking-pid-symbols-3d-object-pid3d/linking-pid-line-segment-3d.md).

**Zoom onto 3D Object** allows you to zoom onto the linked 3D objects which in case of a P\&ID Pipe Line Segment are all 3D pipes and elbows linked to it.
