# P\&ID Inline Asset / Inline Instrument classes

This chapter describes the functions when using the context menu from an Inline Asset or Inline Instrument node in a P\&ID drawing.

**Assign Catalog Data** allows you to assign, remove, or reassign parts from the Pipe Spec. See [Understanding Assigning Pipe Spec Data (P\&ID)](/plant-tools/plantspecdriven/how-to-use/use-cases/editing-line-segment-properties-pid/inserting-symbols-pid/understanding-assigning-pipe-spec-data-pid.md).

**Insert** allows you to Insert the P\&ID Inline Assets or Inline Instrument. The node will be disabled if the node is already linked to the 3D Valve. **Link with 3D Object** allows you to link the P\&ID Inline Assets or Inline Instrument to the 3D Valve. **Unlink from 3D Object** removes the link from the 3D Valve so the node appears unlinked again. **Zoom onto 3D Object** allows you to zoom onto the linked 3D Valve.
