# Nozzles Class

If you are planning to use Flange symbols or other connecting symbols (e.g. Couplings or Nipples) with [AutoPipe](/plant-tools/plantspecdriven/how-to-use/concepts/autopipe.md), you can also get Flange Symbols or other connecting symbols automatically added to the Nozzles on Equipment.

### PSD\_S1\_EndType (mandatory when using AutoPipe)

For the Inline Assets and Inline Instruments this property will be filled by [Assign Catalog Data](/plant-tools/plantspecdriven/how-to-use/concepts/assign-catalog-data.md) when a Part is selected from the Pipe Spec. However, Nozzles in P\&ID will not get data from a Pipe Spec.

Therefore, we set the Default Value for the Single Line Nozzle to FL. In this case [AutoPipe](/plant-tools/plantspecdriven/how-to-use/concepts/autopipe.md) will later add a Flange symbol opposite the Nozzle.
