# 3D Properties

This chapter explains for which properties you need if you want to link your P\&ID Symbols to your 3D objects.

You just need one additional property in two classes. If you do not use 3D you can skip this section.

The property name must be the same in both classes. You can decide what property name to use, but in [Test Projects](/plant-tools/plantspecdriven/how-to-use/test-projects.md) we use PSD\_PID\_PnPGuid. This property will later hold the PnPGuid property value of the P\&ID symbol, line segment, or line group.
