# Rename, Edit, Delete, Deactivate Link Configurations

This chapter describes how you can edit, delete, and deactivate Link Configurations.

<summary>Rename Link Configurations</summary>

To change the name of an existing Link Configuration you either double click on the Link Configuration or you select the Link Configuration and click on the **Edit** button.

On the last page you can simple change the name.

The new name will then appear in the PlantLink main dialog.

<summary>Deactivate Link Configurations</summary>

To deactivate a link configuration you simply check the box in the column **Disabled** for the link configuration you want to deactivate.

<summary>Edit Link Configurations</summary>

To edit a link configuration you select the link configuration and click on **Edit** or or just double-click on the link configuration itself.

<summary>Delete Link Configurations</summary>

To delete a link configuration you select the link configuration and click on the **Delete** button.

A dialog will pop up and asks you if you are sure.

The link configuration is then gone from the list.

You can also delete the link configuration files from the \[PP]\ACPlantTools\PlantLink\LinkConfigurations folder.

You then open the PlantLink main dialog and click on **Refresh**.

Now the deleted link configuration is gone as well.
