# Assign Tag

This chapter describes the various options of the **Assign Tag** tab of the Settings dialog.

The **Assign Tag** tab allows you to add properties to the **Assign Tag** dialog. Details can be found under [Extended Assign Tag](/plant-tools/plantexpresstools/collaboration-workflows/extended-assign-tag.md).

If enabled the standard 'Assign Tag' dialog will be extended with the setup of PlantExpressTools Assign tag configuration.
