# Use Cases for 3D objects

This chapter describes how the renumbering works in 3D\*\*.\*\*

We will use the following settings to renumber the ItemCode property accross all classes

Let's select the Piping Fittings in the order shown in the image.

When we select the last pipe we see, that the pipe has 7.

If you want to renumber the sub parts of a connector you use CTRL and select the part (e.g. Gasket, BoltSet).

When we check the properties of a sub part we then see the filled ItemCode.
