# Using Project and Drawing properties

The calculation function allows you to use project and drawing properties in your calculation.

HOWEVER, if you want to create a calculation for a PipeLineGroup, SignalLineGroup, or P3dLineGroup which uses a drawing property you will not a result in case a line group exists in multiple drawings, because in these cases the calculation function has multiple drawing sources.
