# Changing Assembly Block

It may be necessary to modify the polyline of your Assembly. Of course you could just explode it, modify it and then convert it again into an Assembly, but then you would loose all your data of the Assembly.

The better way is to use "Edit P\&ID Object's Block...".

Now the Blockeditor with the Assemblies' Polyline opens and you can make you change.

After the change you click on the disk symbol to save your change.

Now it looks much better.
