# Update Acquisitions

This chapter lists the workflows when updating Acquisitions in a Collaboration (BIM360 / **A**utodesk **C**onstruction **C**loud) environment.

The Update Acquisitions function has no configuration file, but the behavior differs when using Collaboration projects.

<summary>Update Acquisitions in Project</summary>

When updating all Acquisitions in the project, every drawing has to be checked out, updated, saved & closed, and checked in. In a Non-BIM project the Acquisitions can be updated without opening the drawings.

Drawings which are opened by other users cannot be updated. At the end of the process a dialog will appear with a link to the log file. In the log file you will see which drawings couldn't be updated.
